Dr. Harpham advocates for patients through her writing, speaking, fundraising, consulting and participation as a patient advocate on multiple boards and workshops.
Founding and board member of the Dallas Chapter of the Lymphoma Research Foundation. She has served as captain of Wendy’s Eagles, an ever-growing team of walkers in the Dallas Lymphoma Walk since the inaugural walk in 2004. Wendy’s Eagles has raised over $275,000 for the Lymphoma Research Foundation. After the 2024 event on March 3, 2024, Dr. Harpham will complete her tenure as captain of Wendy’s Eagles. Affiliate member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. She served on the Survivorship committee and both the Uniform Minimum Standards Work Group and Survivorship Booklet Work Group subcommittees.
